What is Minimizer?
Minimizer is an extension for your Newton 2.0 device which allows you to shrink (minimize) an application to the blinking notification star at the top of the screen. Just two taps, and whoosh, it disappears into the star. (The whoosh is optional.) Tap the star, pick the app, and it's back. Minimizer is better than app switchers because it doesn't leave the clutter of so many windows.
Minimizer is a sanity saver. Do you use apps designed for 1.x Newtons that you can't drag around the screen? Isn't that frustrating? Well, no more. With Minimizer, you can drag 1.x apps by their title.
Minimizer is love.
Minimizer is happiness.
Minimizer is $5 shareware. (Online ordering at http://order.kagi.com/?QCW.)
If you ever want to delete the Minimizer extension, you should restart your Newton with all your packages disabled (restart it with the stylus held down on the left side of the screen) before you delete it. That should help avoid a problem encountered.
