Our project is to design a data base system to manage the company's billing system from meter reading all process all the way to the bill payment. Our system will give the customer a very details and easy to read bill, with explanation of charges and usages and so on.
Our design will allow the company to get the reading from the meter through a person entering the reading in a mini computer, stating the date and the meter number, then dumping it all in the main customer data base system, which has each customer's details such as Name, bill address, service address, type etc.) and by gathering all these informations and dumping the reading in the system the meter number will match every name in the system,which will allow the company to generate one detailed bill for each customer with the charges, rates, usages, taxes, total, late total, dates and amount and the late payment amount as well with late charges.

This system is very easy to use and very easy to locate customer information as each customer can be found either by typing there address or there meter number, and the bills are very detailed so the customer knows what there being charged for and what they're paying for.
