Microsoft buys most of Connectix's product line

OK. Microsoft is buying out most of Connectix's products. And getting the engineers and the tech support to go with them.

Taking a look at how the spoils are divided, Virtual PC goes to the MacBU. "Microsoft's Macintosh Business Unit (MacBU) will be responsible for supporting and shipping all current versions of Virtual PC." The funny thing about that comment is--who gets VPC/Windows? That makes it sounds like MacBU gets it, but it doesn't sound at all like something they'd care for. The Windows 2003 Server team gets Virtual Server.

The article makes very sure to say that Connectix is still around, keeping their other products. What other products? Since Sony got Virtual Game Station, the only things left are RAM Doubler, CopyAgent, and DoubleTalk. Since those engineers are probably gone with VPC, those aren't seeing an upgrade (not that they would anyway). Who's left? What's left?
