PowerBook PC Card door

The hinged flap covering the PC Card slot on my PowerBook has been acting funny for a while. It seemed stuck closed, but you could push it open.

Today I used a PC card, and later had the door just fell out of the machine. I tilted the machine, and out came a spring, some metal part (I can't tell its function) and some broken plastic.

I took apart the PowerBook but can't figure out how things go. Tomorrow at work, I'll disassemble one of their PowerBooks to see how it's supposed to go together...
