In my head

Ever had so much going on in your life that your brain feels like it's going to explode and you can't even sleep decently, regardless of how early you get to sleep?

Ok, so I just need to vent. Big time. Apparently, I have ADD; didn't know it until last year. Everyone else knew. Go fig. Now don't get all defensive and say "everyone and their mother has ADD". It just so happens that I think waay too many people are diagnosed with it, and that waay too many kids are on meds for it. But it tends to run in my family. My mother, my younger brother, and myself happen to be the worst.

Regardless, here's what's going on:

  • I'm working full-time at my mortgage company.
  • I'm working full-time on my relationship with my boyfriend.
  • I bowl every Wednesday night.
  • I coach a girls' roller hockey team every Tuesday evening (only for 8 weeks).
  • I am trying to schedule all the different conferences I'm attending this summer.
  • I'm trying to write my murder mystery (I have 16 pages right now, single spaced).
  • I'm scheduling time with the local police department to interview them so that I can continue on my book.
  • I am trying to schedule a dentist appointment and neurology appointments so that I can take care of my ADD so all this is a lot easier for me.
  • I am trying to keep in touch with all my friends/cousins and make hard decisions about some of them.
  • I am trying to stay sane (another full-time job).
  • I am applying to law schools to start in the fall and awaiting their responses so I can make a decision about this summer.
  • I am applying to a number of scholarship and grants so that I can pay for law school.
  • I am trying to take care of all my bills.
  • I am trying to continue to work out regularly during the week, including running so I can start doing races again.
  • I am trying to solve some legal issues.
  • I am trying to find a way to Israel this summer so I can finally visit some relatives and friends.
  • I am trying to make it out for a weekend to Chicago.
  • I have to figure out how to go to Rhode Island for a weekend for a tour of one of the law schools and then make it back to Chicago for a wedding early June.
  • And that doesn't count the occasional Hillel/YAD event that I like to attend.

Is that enough? I think I'm pretty close to losing track of everything. No wonder I can't get any good sleep anymore. HEEEELP! Does anyone have any suggestions?
