Wonderful Birthday
I just wanted to mention how wonderful my birthday was. I turned 30! First thing in the morning my apartment mates sang me Happy Birthday. Then we had brownies during lunch. (This was for three of us who turned 30 in the apartment). Then after lunch, Shulamit, a girl I've know for a really long time, but just got to know better this summer - invited me to go to a Maccabia netball game in Herzeliya between England and Israel. That was so much fun.
Then we went to the beach in Herzelia Patuach. This was the same beach that we went to when all of the family was here 15 years ago. It's so interesting how things came stay the same but be so different. It was one of those philosophical moments. Time flies, and people grow and find what they want to be. What they want to be not with regards to their jobs, but who they want to be. I can't say that I'm there, but I'm on a path I'm happy with.
I am very thankful to Shulamit and had a great day with her. I wish her, all my friends and family, and all of Klal Yisroel a wonderful year full of only good news.
