Adina commented that I hadn't posted lately. True, true. All is well here, but I'm so busy, I still can't figure out with what exactly. It's still like Israel in that way. While I was there all I did was run. I got to the end of the day and collapsed. Same here. I'm assuming that I'm still getting the apartment up and running.

By the way, I'm in Washington Heights - the upper, upper west side of Manhattan. I have a great apartment, linoleum floors (sing La La La Linoleum!), and they are beautiful. I spent three days scrubbing them. It's a nice size. I have a big bedroom and a nice size living room. I've got a good roommate and that is a blessing along with the nice apartment. Thank G-d I have not seen one roach - thank you G-d, thank you G-d!

I'm averaging about 6 hours of sleep a night on my beautiful bed that Mom bought me, thank you Mom! It's great. All I need to do is spend more time in it.

Yesterday was the first day that I was seriously homesick. That was hard considering that after school I was still due at an ulpan I signed up for and all I wanted to do was go home (Detroit). But finally about 10:30pm I made it to my "home" in Washington Heights. I made myself a drink (orange juice and peach schnopps), a small one in a plastic cup...and watched the pilot episode of Sledge Hammer. I felt much better. I took a shower and went to sleep.

So I'm in school now, getting ready for the day. I've got my corn muffin and small coffee from the shop around the corner. Yeah! Alright, gotta go. We have tefilla in about 5 minutes and I'm doing something in it.
