Roomba API
New from iRobot: the Roomba Serial Control Interface. It's built into recent Roombas, and older second-gen Roombas can get it with an upgrade kit.
With a controller plugged into the serial port, you can examine the state of the sensors, start cleaning cycles, make the Roomba drive around or activate its vacuum motors, flash its LEDs, or even define and play songs.
