Taking a walk

This morning, as I stepped out of the door of my apartment, I saw several cabs waiting for more passengers so that they could go below 96th Street. But I started to walk anyway, figuring that if I bundled up I might as well take advantage of the cross-trainers I was wearing. So with My Sharona, Wild Wild West and Heart and Soul in my ears I started off, taking in the sights of Broadway.

The wind howled at my back, taking an occasional shot at my face, but the icy feeling of it against my skin compared to the warmth of my gloves and hat was an amazing contrast that made me feel so alive I just kept walking until I got to work.

I still think the TWU leadership is a bunch of arrogant, entitlement-demanding assholes. But I liked my walk anyway.

Be carefull with that walking stuff, it can get quite addicting. Personal experience talking here. There isn't a trail in the state park, I live behind, that I haven't walked from end to end.

Hey Avi, glad to hear that you're taking the strike in stride! Ha, get it? ... anyway, sorry for the inconvenience tho'. Good you've been working out just for this moment. love ya
