Happy 4th!!!

Love you all. Have a great time tonight at the fireworks, I'm very sorry to miss it. Just a quick update.

At the church there were a few of us hanging outside waiting for the others to come back. A good handful came back out after 10 minutes of being in there. It was too much for them. I think I remember before I knew better I had visited when I was 17. There's so many idols hanging on the walls, there are tombs of people IN the walls, and people bowing and kissing big rocks (don't know what that was about)... and that is when I got out of there.

Anyway, when we were hanging outside, there was a fellow (I didn't think he was Jewish) who turned to us and asked if Jews go into churches. We told him no. He was a Jew from Gibralter (the rock off of Spain) and was there with a friend who went in, but he thought he remembered that Jews don't go in. He checked with us and was happy with the answer. It's amazing who you meet. Plus, he was gorgeous - and I don't say that lightly... maybe I should go visit there next winter break!

Gotta make this short. Today was a crazy day, tomorrow will be crazier - we're going to the Negev to visit bedouins - why not? Then we're coming back to listen to a string quartet. We won't hear any of it - we'll be sleeping in our chairs.

Love you all and G-d bless America.

Ooh! A gorgeous guy from Gibralter? Can you steer him towards Ohr Somayach (and then get his number)? :)
