Bynkii spreads the love

John C. Welch writes (quite a bit) about obnoxious software (and obnoxious people). Given that I write software, I read it with interest. I can understand a lot about what he says, whether or not I agree (it wouldn't hurt to start polite, would it, guys?) But some things I don't get. He cites some obnoxious software behavior, and I can't understand how anyone could build an app that behaves like that. As a developer, I've always realized that my app is a guest on my user's machine. Perhaps that perception isn't as widely-held as I'd hope.
