Half-Marathon
I'm about 70% sure I'm running a half-marathon on Sunday, June 3rd. I know it's not that far away and I only started training last week, but I'm stubborn and heck, its 80% mental, right?
Here's the catch, and what I'm worried about. You must average a 12-minute mile. Which doesn't seem very fast, but for 13 miles straight, it's suddenly very imposing. Especially when you only started training last week.
So my goal is to get down to a 9 minute mile, and I want a split (half-way time) of an hour, since I have to finish in two and a half hours....
I'm starting to run every day... So let's start the countdown, and I'll probably end up making my decision a few days prior to the race. HAHA.
