Half-Marathon Training Update

Two days ago I was a little worried that I wouldn't be ready for the Dexter-Ann Arbor half marathon. I had gone to the gym and run 2.5 miles in 34 minutes.
But yesterday, I went to the gym and started running hard core... Which I have to do since the race is now in 18 days....
I ran 3 miles in 36 minutes, and finished up with 3.25 miles in 40 minutes. I hit the 12min/mile marker.. Now I just have to lower my running average and increase my distance (by a lot). But hey - I have 18 days!

I do, however, have to get new running shoes. Mine are too small and my toenails are getting a little tender. I'd like to avoid having my toenails fall off, so we're going to go shopping soon. More money out the door. Oh well.... I'll be keeping everyone updated as to my progress.
