Dressy
Of course, with the comment about black tie dress come snide remarks from the people I know.
From the West Coast: "Black tie, white tie? Isn't that a bit racist?"
From the East Coast: "I have three tuxes in my closet."
I just can't win.

Now I have a black tie and white tie in the closet, and in fact, also a black shirt and a white shirt. When Ezra got married, I wore the black shirt and white tie. Of course, I could have worn the white shirt with the black tie, and would have looked like a penquin. Every outfit that you choose, some twirp is going to make comments, like 'racist.' You really can't win -- so I wore the black shirt with the white tie, and what did I expect? "You look like the Mafia!" Well, as I suspected, better to look like something that people recognize. At least, that is one wedding that people will remember!!
