I was wondering with my new power adapter how it knows the state of the battery. From what I can figure, it has to be the PowerBook's battery charging circuitry that's running the glowing ring. It's kind of a bummer, though.
Since my PowerBook was made before the chargers had glowing rings, it apparently doesn't know how to turn the ring green. Shame.
