Imported and ready to go

Well, I just finished loading up all the old Diaryland entries. It's an interesting look back at the past. Can I say I've progressed when I think I could have written any of those entries yesterday?

Some notes on MT:

I'm trying out an app called Kung-Log, which is a Cocoa app that acts as a posting front end and communicates with MT via XML-RPC. It seems pretty cool, and allows for spell-checking. I think I like it.

Does anyone build a site from scratch? I think I'm going to take their template and just do minor tweaks here and there. There are far too many tags for me to wrap my head around. And I'm probably going to break the permalinks once or twice over the next few weeks although I'll try not to.

Hey avi, I build mine from scratch. If you use the MTInclude tag you can suck in a header and footer. One other cool place is bradchoate.com. Very good MT plugins.
