Inline data

I ran across a reference to RFC 2397, which allows you to dump inline data into an HTML document. Something like this:

Indubitable Solutions

The concept is something that I've wanted to know how to do for a while. The problem is finding browsers that support it. Mozilla does, of course. OmniWeb does, which is a surprise. But Safari doesn't. (I filed a bug.) IE/Mac 5 doesn't. IE/PC 6 doesn't. I don't have iCab or Opera installed to try them out, but these results are disappointing. That's one of the problems with web browsers. If IE doesn't do it, it pretty much doesn't matter if anyone else does.

That's awesome Avi. I never new that was possible. I always wanted to know how to do that too. Sucks it doesn't work in many browsers.
