Comics from The Future!
Two weeks ago, I was sent to Iowa to work on our editorial system installed at a customer's site. It was pretty cool, and everyone was very nice.
I even got to see their printing press churn out papers.
But what's interesting is that they get shipped inserts for papers, which are inserted after everything is done. And the Sunday comic section is an insert. So I got to read comics from the upcoming week.
As proof, here's the Dilbert that will run Sunday, June 27:
W H S N
I T D W
(first letter from each panel is fair use, yes?)
Comments
You mean that Dilbert isn't up-to-the-minute commentary on the very latest in officing, but is really canned material? Oh no, my illusions have been shattered?
Now I would feel sorry, not for Scott Adams, but for people like Trudeau who are actually expected to be timely with their comics.
Nice blog, it's pretty cool.
