The one-item-on-sale-per-day site woot.com had today a washer/dryer set on sale. Looking around, I found an article on the NYT about washers in apartments.
Sigh.

Wow...that's awful. A washer and dryer is just about my top requirement for an apartment. I'd drop air conditioning and the dishwasher first if I had to....
